Description

SYD BARRETT "The Madcap Laughs" - Very Rare Original UK LP -the Earliest First Pressing with distinct label differences when compared to later pressings. There is no boxed "EMI" logo on the labels; the text reads "Barrett except + Joyce" on Side 2; there is no gap between "Lupus Music" and "Produced by"; the words "Syd Barrett" are type-set lower on the Side 2 label than on later editions. Apparently only 300 of these early pressings were produced.   

Original pressing from Great Britain on the Harvest Label, Catalog Number SHVL 765; Matrix Numbers A-2G / B-2G; 1G Stamper Code.

Vinyl is in EX Condition (some minor spindle marks, however the vinyl is very nice indeed). Laminated Gatefold Cover is in EX Condition. 

This is a Very Rare LP not often seen in this condition, and not to be missed by Syd Barrett and Pink Floyd fans!
