This rare 3LP box set – from Vanguard (BG 627/9, US pressing, features the legendary Joseph Szigeti in Bach’s Six Sonatas & Partitas for Solo Violin BWV 1001-1006, “recorded under the auspices of the Bach Guild” at Columbia 30th Street Studio, New York during 1955-56, a landmark in the Bach discography.
ALL OF THE VINYL IS IN NEAR MINT CONDITION AND PLAYS FLAWLESSLY .. THE BOX SHOWS SIGNS OF SHELF WEAR WITH SPLIT CORNERS. PHOTOS ARE OF THE ACTUAL ITEMS BEING SOLD.
