Produced with Jack Antonoff and John Ryan, the album is primarily a pop and soft rock record. Its lead single 'Manchild' reached number one in Ireland, the UK, and the US. The album debuted at number one in 18 countries and was certified platinum by the RIAA. It earned six Grammy nominations including Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album.
