Description
Absolutely amazing 78 on the sadly short lived early Turkish Pathe (these are from 1920s and 30s... another Pathe series were relaunched 20 years later in the 50s). This one features the legendary Turkish virtuoso violinist and composer Sadi Işılay.. one of his very rarely seen solo records. One side features a "Çoban" (Shepherd's) air (or as written here "party") where he impeccably mimicks sheep calls with his violin and other sound effects!
One side is the shepherd's Party and the other side is a "Tsiftetelli" dance air which this side has seen some liquid-spill damage but there's no problem on the shellac.
Condition is a nice clean VG+
