Description
VG+ disk, sleeve wear? no noticeable marks that would affect the sound when playing. VG+ cover, ring, and bottom edge shelf wear. No other blemishes, writing, seam splits or corner bends. Two picture moon & earth inserts.
Any blemishes will be noted. I'll go with disc & cover Grading like this:
NM ~ Looks as if it just came from a store, and was opened for the first time. Maybe played a few times if ever, no evidence of play or wear whatsoever. COVER - just about perfect in every way, often still in shrink wrap, with no major ring wear, staining or easily visible flaws. Seams and spine are just about perfect.
VG+ ~ Shows slight signs of wear, light scuffs or scratches may be present but they should not affect playback other than faint surface noise. COVER - may have a minor flaw here and there, maybe very minor ring wear if any, seams & spine intact but not pristine.
VG ~ Looks a bit used, light scratches, no gouges, still plays well, some surface noise will be heard, but will not significantly disrupt the music. COVER - will have more obvious ring wear or marks/staining, seams may have cracking, or splits.

Very little wear to the lp & cover, with most still having the shrink wrap still on. All disks will be clear plastic sleeve covered and mailed in a professional, cardboard mailer with additional cardboard if needed. If curious about any other lps let me know your wants.]
The Blue Marble was the second and final Sagittarius album, released in 1969 by the newly formed Together Records. The title song is by Lee Mallory and Gary Usher. By and large a Gary Usher creation, the album remained in obscurity for most of its post-release, due to the collapse of Usher's Together Records Label. On this album, Usher used the Moog Synthesizer extensively, and left lead vocals relatively bare (in contrast to previous Sagittarius material, on which the vocals were showered with harmonies). Also in contrast to Present Tense, Usher takes the majority of the lead vocals, with collaborator Curt Boettcher singing lead only on "In My Room" and "Will You Ever See Me" and Chuck Girard (whom Gary Usher had known during his days producing the Hondells) singing lead on "Gladys" and "I See In You". Most of the songs were written in the psychedelic pop mold. The album is also notable for its forays into Country and Western music styles, at many times utilizing pedal steel guitar (played by Red Rhodes). The record spawned a minor hit with the cover of the Beach Boys' "In My Room" (which Usher co-wrote with Brian Wilson), which featured Curt Boettcher on vocals and reached number 86 on the charts. Although Sagittarius' first album Present Tense has gained somewhat of a reputation over the years, The Blue Marble remains largely unknown. The album debuted on the fledgeling Together Records, which unfortunately folded shortly after the release of this record and forced the music into a nose dive into obscurity. This is quite a shame as The Blue Marble features some great sunshine pop and is a worthy follow up to Present Tense.
Present Tense is more of a peaks and valleys record. While some songs there make me cringe, the high points are among the best that 60's music has to offer. The Blue Marble is a lot more consistant. There's nothing here with the punch of "My World Fell Down," but we are spared another "Musty Dusty."
The Blue Marble seems to have Gary Usher firmly in the driver's seat. Whereas Present Tense ended up having Curt Boettcher working practically as a collaborator, he appears here with only one songwriting credit, three production credits, and a smattering of vocals. Usher wrote a good 80% percent of The Blue Marble, five of them alone. (Dr. Schluss)
