5 DAY AUCTION. Perfect copy of the coolest jazz record ever. SAHIB SHIHAB "SUMMER DAWN" (LPS-742). You absolutely never see stereo copies, they're always mono's (usually promo's with a cut-out-hole). This cover is conservatively graded NM with no splits or cut-outs. Back of cover is totally white & looks new (ARGO COVER, no mention of cadet). Although it has a CADET LABEL, I believe this is a leftover deep-grooved Argo pressing that they put a Cadet label on. VINYL IS CONSERVATIVELY GRADED NM & LOOKS UNPLAYED! SIDE 1: "Lillemor" & "Please Don't Leave Me". SIDE 2: "Waltz For Seth", "Campi's Idea", & "Herr Fixit". Personnel: Sahib Shihab on alto, baritone, and flute; Ake Persson on trombone; Francy Boland on piano; Jimmy Woode on bass; Joe Harris on bongos; Kenny Clarke on drums. Recorded May 8 & 9 1963 in Cologne, Germany. Engineer: Wolfgang Hirschmann. Supervision: Gigi Campi. THIS IS A TRUE STEREO RECORDING, & IN MY OPINION SOUNDS BETTER THAN THE MONO.
