Description DetailsSaigon Supersound continues to present more interesting tunes from a musical era that has long been in the dark. After the internationally well-received release of Volume 1, we are very excited to dig deeper and share interesting music from a short but significant period in Vietnam's history.
This time, the selection of titles is limited to the period between 1964 and 1975, the so-called "Golden Age", when there was a vibrant pop culture in southern Vietnam under difficult circumstances.
For us, this story is Vol. 1 has not yet been fully told. Some musical facets have not yet been illuminated, also due to a lack of qualitative, suitable source material for processing/restoration.
