Description
Original 1992 UK first pressing of Too Young To Die – The Singles, the early compilation by Saint Etienne, released on Heavenly Records (catalogue number HVNLP10).
The album collects the group’s early singles and helped establish the band as one of the most distinctive acts of the early 1990s UK indie dance scene. Combining indie pop songwriting with house and dance influences, the record captures the unique sound that made the group cult favourites.
Original vinyl pressings on Heavenly Records from this period are increasingly sought after, as many early 1990s releases were pressed in significantly smaller quantities on vinyl than CD.
TRACK HIGHLIGHTS
Includes several of the band’s best-known early singles:
• Only Love Can Break Your Heart
• Nothing Can Stop Us
• Kiss and Make Up
• You’re in a Bad Way
• Avenue
These tracks showcase the band’s distinctive blend of indie pop, electronic production and dancefloor rhythms.
