Sainte Columbe Concerts Two Viols Kuijken Savall Astree
Violists, Jordi Savall and Wieland Kuijken play “Concerts a Deux Violes Esgales” by Sainte Colombe. They include “Bourrasque”, “Le raporte”, “Le Retour”, “La Dubois”, and “Tombeau les Regrets”. A French stereo pressing on Astree Label (AS 10), the record is of mint appearance, and plays and sounds superb with a minimum of surface noise. The gatefold cover has rubbed a little.
