Description

A very hard to find classic of the East LA music scene from the mid-60's. Recorded live at Salesian High School. A couple of artists on this that would go on to do a few more things are Little Ray and The Ambertones. I believe this show was a mix of bands from Garfield, Roosevelt, and Salesian High School.


I typically don't like grading records because it is often very subjective depending on who you talk to. But I will do my best to describe this. As you can see, the cover shows obvious signs of wear. There is about a 1" split on the bottom of the record where the vinyl would enter the sleeve. The back is also slightly coming loose a little bit on the bottom. Nothing that a little glue can't fix though. A girl named Margie Lopez wrote the date she bought this on the back in pen. She also wrote some of the band's names on the photos. She also wrote her name on the side 1 label. The vinyl has many superficial scratches, but hardly any deep scratches. I have played this and there are some pops and the sound quality isn't the best (mainly because it was recorded live). But a great chance to own this hard to find piece of history.
