Description
Sam Apple Pie LP Vinyl - Sam Apple Pie.
First UK Pressing - Decca - SKL-R.5005.
Outer sleeve - (G+ - VG) - Outer sleeve is ok but there is heavy lifting to the laminate along the left hand side of the spine where the spine is, some of the plastic has come away from the sleeve, some creasing to the laminate at the front also, creasing along the sides, slight bending to corners, slight ringwear at the front, dirtying to the back, light ringwear to the back. Back has come away slightly from the front but should be easily re-stuck.
Inner Sleeve - (VG+) - Inner sleeve is a paper sleeve and is nice and clean with some creasing.
Vinyl - (P - F - B?) - Visually graded. When I mention 'scratches' or 'hairlines' or 'scuffs' these are light and cannot be felt deeply by the finger unless otherwise stated.
Vinyl has absolutely been through the wars. Covered with scratches and hairlines. Can only be considered as a collection filler. Might play on a set of decks such as Technics 1210s but there will most probably be a lot of distortion and jumps, skips etc. Please do not buy this item for the vinyl.
Record Collectors Grading system
Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable Good (G) Te record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-fillerTerms of Business: If you are unhappy with your item please let me know and we will resolve it.
