Description
Sam Rivers, "Contours", Mono. Blue Note BLP 4206 Featuring: Sam Rivers - tenor/soparano sax & flute, Freddie Hubbard - trumpet, Herbie Hancock - piano, Ron Carter - bass, Joe Chambers - drums.
COVER: G. Still identifiable as the cover that goes with the record so it's got that going for it. Paper loss from moisture damage (affects apx. bottom 1/4 on front, bottom 1/6 on back). "Audition Copy" stamp top back. All joking aside - the good news is that the condition of the record is much better than the cover, and Mom always told us that "it's what's on the inside that matters", right?
RECORD: VG+ 1967 Original. New York Labels. Hairlines, light marks, sleeve marks. Strong fidelity and volume. Minor occasional background crackle. A cleaning would benefit this record. We leave that to new owners preferred method. Van gelder etched in dead wax.
INSERT: N/A
