Description
Blue Note 4184, with New York USA on both labels. Record has “ear” and “van gelder” inscribed in the dead wax, 43 West 61st address on the bottom of the back cover. 6 tunes with Jaki Byard, piano; Ron Carter, bass; Tony Williams, drums. Rivers drive bop and post-bop styles with superb accompaniment. Cover: VG+ or better. Intact with some edge and corner wear. A couple of small scratches on the front cover. Slight aging on the back cover. Record: Mint(-). Visually shows no wear. There are 4 or 5 light surface rub marks. Mainly on Side 1. These do not effect the sound. No surface noise. Fine quality and sound. Audibly checked.
