Samhain Initium Plan 9 ‘84 TRANSLUCENT Black Smoke Strk Misfits Danzig.
Early Press on Translucent Brown (Rootbeer color) Vinyl W/Black Darker Smoke like Streaks in vinyl
I have owned 3-4 INITIUM copies but have never even seen one with 6-84 &8-84 Etchings on TRANSLUCENT BROWN VINYL (when held up under a light) AND it has a several BLACK SMOKE STREAKS most are light streaks. You can see an M with a squiggly line and a straight line black streak and some light darker streaks that are hard to see and capture taking photos holding the record and not dropping it or letting it get scuffs. But it looks unusual and cool in person it isn’t all streaked but has several you can see in light, more obvious in person...
the record has 6-84 8-84 Etching and a faint but visible MZ on each side. I don’t know what press it is but it was before any Caroline copies,the sleeve is the first press sleeve and it has the 6-84 and 8-84 Etchings? I know that if you search you will not find many of these... I don’t know of one that was sold but I just did a quick check
IT IS ALSO ON THIN VINYL. I have an original first press with same etching except this one has an additional MZ too.
condition is EX on vinyl with a few light surface scuffs and cover is VG+ to EX it would be almost NM- if not for the small area at top of cover that the fool I bought it from caused by shipping it with tape stuck to it from making his own mailer in 2001! It would of been my keeper cover and is very nice except for that, great shine and no other issues. Nice luster and sheen on vinyl. I played it once and it played great and it has been stored in climate controlled area!

This copy with 6-84 and 8-84 ETCHING on VINYL as is listed for first press Etchings and has First press sleeve but is on TRANSLUCENT VINYL with smoke like streaks?!
So it has the (6-84 and 8-84) which are “listed as” First Press Etchings on each side and has First Press Plan 9 Address only Sleeve BUT is on TRANSLUCENT VINYL with black smoke streaks!
It is not common... All I will say is look at popsike auction history and tell me how many copies you see like this sold. Note it has first press cover, translucent vinyl with several smoke lines. It sold for over $300 with 20+ bidders this summer but the guy who won it didn't pay... I waited over a month for him as he kept asking if I could wait a few more days and he had all kinds of "bad luck" that month so I was cool and gave him a chance... But I don't feel like playing that game, please do not bid if you cannot pay for it in 7 days. That is plenty of time. I will be listing a bunch of rare Misfits & Samhain in the future
