Description
Here we have a highly sought after and extremely rare private pressing of Season of the Dead by Samhain. This record is on clear blue vinyl, and is in NM condition all around. An archival piece, if you will! The only visible problem that I could find was on the cover, and it was a very tiny, hardly even noticeable crease in the lower left corner, on the spine of the record. No seam splits or any other problems like that. This copy is simply a beauty and will make an amazing addition to your already huge Misfits/Danzig/Samhain collection. The track listing is as follows: Jockey Club '84-All Hell Breaks Loose/ Samhain/All Murder, All Guts, All Fun/Black Dream/Die, Die My Darling/The Shift/ Moribund/Halloween/Horror Business/Who Killed Marilyn? Unknown Show '84-All Hell Breaks Loose/Samhain/All Murder, All Guts, All Fun/The Shift/The Howl/Die, Die My Darling/Unholy Passion/Black Dream. The back cover states that this record was made in West Germany, but from what I can gather with some sleuthing is that this actually came from and American source. The company that pressed it is simply listed as "Fiend Club". The dead wax on the A side reads SAM 666-C, and the dead wax on the B side reads SAM 666-D. The labels themselves are black, and the A side is labeled with a small taped on "1". The inner sleeve for the record seems to be marked too, and this mark appears on the lower right corner and is "N/407 37/413". Again, if you are looking at this, you know how rare this record is.
