Description
This is the 1986 maroon cover/black vinyl second pressing of Unholy Passion by Samhain. I am putting this rare and valuable record up for auction with a starting bid of .99¢, no reserve, and free shipping.
Overall the record and sleeve are in fantastic shape. The cover is in its opened original shrink wrap with record store price tag. No seamsplits on any edges. Some ring wear and a bit of creasing around top right ring and a small crease on left near spine. Corners are great. Top left corner is a little bumped but not bad at all. See photos. Cover does not lay flat. It was a bit difficult to capture photos of the flaws with the reflections off the shrink wrap, so please look closely at the photos and read descriptions carefully.
The vinyl record itself is near mint condition and looks fantastic. No scratches or scuffs. The paper generic inner sleeve is missing and has been replaced with an archival quality anti-static MoFi plastic inner sleeve. See photos.
I play tested this and listened carefully with headphones on. There is no skipping or scratches, and every track plays wonderfully. The record has a very slight wobble on the platter but it did not affect playback on my player at all.

Matrix / Runout (Side B runout): PL9-05B TRU CR 1/85 EDP;
TRU is circled on both sides and the EDP circle is there but it’s hard to make out the EDP letters inside the circle.
This record will be shipped out within 24 hours of receiving payment. It will be packaged carefully with bubble wrap and cardboard spacers for cushioning in a brand new Whiplash record mailer marked fragile on all sides. The record will be placed behind the sleeve to prevent seem splits or any damage during transit.
