Grading System:
All items are graded following the Goldmine Standard, this is the most common and efficient grading system in the Marketplace, and it is the one used in Discogs.

  • Mint (M)

Absolutely perfect in every way. Certainly never been played, possibly even still sealed. Should be used sparingly as a grade, if at all.

  • Near Mint (NM or M-) / NM - NM- in eBay

A nearly perfect record. A NM or M- record has more than likely never been played, and the vinyl will play perfectly, with no imperfections during playback. An LP cover shows no creases, folds, seam splits, cut-out holes, or other noticeable similar defects. The same is true for inserts, posters, lyric sleeves, etc. For eBay description this is the highest rating.

  • Very Good Plus (VG+) / Excellent in eBay

The LP could show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Defects are only of cosmetic nature, not affecting the actual playback as a whole. LP cover may have slight signs of wear, discoloration, but not big damages in the artwork.

  • Good Plus (G+) / VG in eBay

An LP in Good Plus condition can be played through without skipping. But it will have surface noise, scratches, and visible groove wear. A cover or sleeve will have seam splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear, or other defects will be present. There will noticeable "ticks" which could be persistent during the playback.

  • Poor (P) / G+ or lower in eBay

The record is cracked, badly warped, and won't play through without skipping or repeating. The picture sleeve  The LP cover might have damaged artwork, split on seams and show heavy signs of wear and writing. Same holds for inserts or inner sleeves.
