"Samurai Champloo" was broadcast on TV in 2004. This work, directed by Shinichiro Watanabe, was a groundbreaking work at the time, with its innovative visuals and music, which had elements of historical drama and Hip Hop that were truly "Champuru", captivating not only anime fans but also Hip Hop freaks. It still receives high praise not only in Japan but also overseas.

The artists selected for this work by director Watanabe, who is known for his deep knowledge of music, are Nujabes, a rare track maker who shook the scene with his lo-fi Hip Hop, and later created many followers both domestically and internationally, and Five Deez. Fat Jon, who has been active since the 2000s and has released solo albums produced by Nujabes; FORCE OF NATURE, a unit consisting of KZA and DJ KENT, who have also worked on remixes for numerous artists and have a presence as top runners in the domestic and international club scene. TSUTCHIE has been leading the Japanese Hip Hop scene since its dawn as the track maker for SHAKKAZOMBIE.

The tracks created for their "Samurai Champloo" were released in 2004 as four CDs: "Departure," "masta," "impression," and "playlist," and became a smash hit. After 18 years, these four CDs have been released as analog discs. This will be the first time that each title will be made analog.
