The Del Rosa Choir is a regular feature along with the entire Music Department of the church. Each month, a Gospel artist or group is invited as special guests of the evening. The Del Rosa Choir is a very unique and versatile group, in that they sing the traditional anthems and hymns such as, “Nothing But the Blood,” equally as well as “King Jesus,” a moving Negro Spiritual. The soloists, trio, and the entire choir sincerely feel what they are singing because of their personal experience of knowing the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour. Before each performance, whether it be an engagement outside their home church, Afterglow, or a regular service in the Sanctuary, this dedicated choir unites in earnest prayer, in- viting the Holy Spirit to anoint them and minister through them. It is their prayer that men’s lives be changed for Jesus Christ through the message they sing The choir is very proud of its directors, Larry and Pat Wilson. This fine dedicated couple have enjoyed a rich ministry with youth in the field of music They work together as a team, Pat specializing in directing and arranging, while Larry leads in the executive and ad- ministrative aspects of the choir. Their amiable personalities, ability to develop talent, plus their deep love and dedication to their ministry of music combine to accomplish much. John Owen, their very qualified pianist at the age of 15, has perfect pitch, and is a great asset to the choir. The choir is honored to have Mr. David Feit’s outstanding talent, blending the vibrant tones of the organ with the choir. Mr. Dan Martinez ^dds his string bass as a finishing touch. Pastor Ronald Wiseman and his wife Betty are a constant source of encouragement to this fine group. And now, may the “Afterglow” of God’s presence linger with you as you continue to enjoy the music of the Del Rosa Choir.
