Sandie Shaw - Two Original Stereo LPs - Puppet and Love Me, very nice condition.

Selling-up my extensive record collection. Lots of interesting LPs in the collection - do have a look at my other items, and there are new listings every week. I may have obscure things that you didn't even know you wanted!

These are the nicest two - and the only two in stereo - from my Sandie Shaw collection of original sixties LPs.

Puppet On A String - Pye 1967

Cover - is very good - front laminated and with flip-backs. Front has slight ring-wear, a small bend at top of the opening, and a couple of scallop creases. A few small creases in from the edges, and a larger crease at bottom edge where it's gotten slightly bent at some time. Little bumps / wear along the opening. Spine is super. Back is very good, grubbiness along edges of flip-backs, where lamination doesn't quite reach the edges. There's a little note in pencil from the seller I got it from, saying how good it is, at top next to the "Stereo" sticker.

Record - I can't see any damage on side one, side two has a tiny dimple in the vinyl on track 2 (pressing fault), and a few surface marks.

Love Me Please Love Me - Pye 1967

Cover - front-laminated, with flip-backs. Front is very nice, flat but with some impressions, as if someone has used it as a writing-block when writing a letter. I see two scallop creases. Back is startlingly clean and un-damaged.

Record - On side one, I think I'm seeing a band of light scoring on track 5. No other problems. There's a similar band of scoring on track 5 of side two. There's a little bunch of short scratches at end of track 5 running just into track 6, and another bunch like that at start of track 6. There's a light scratch going from track 1 into track 2.

I have been collecting records for 50 years (when finances allowed!), and now it's time to sell-up. I bought them mostly around local shops (second-hand), but sometimes from e-bay, and sometimes new, for my favourite bands.

When I'm checking for damage on records, I look at them carefully with my reading glasses on, in good daylight. This method detects any bits of damage that will affect what you hear when listening to it - and lots that are not audible. Using a spotlight or direct sunlight shows more surfacey marks sometimes, but I don't do that - records are for listening to, not trying to see your face in.

Postage at cost within UK - £3.00 plus 50p for a proper record mailer Happy to do combined postage wherever practical.

I don't mail things personally, to countries outside the UK - ( I mean it, don't ask) - but I am happy to use E-Bay UK's Global Shipping Program, for sending things abroad. Under this scheme, I send the parcel to an e-bay depot in UK, and they forward it to the overseas buyer.

They have a tracked courier service, for the journey from their UK depot, to the buyer.

This means that I can ONLY accept payments through e-bay (Pay Now button), and I can't send invoices.

E-Bay UK tells me, they do NOT do combined postage in the Global Shipping Programme. Charges to the customer for delivery are whatever you're told they are - if you don't want to pay the postal / courier charges, then do not bid.

International buyers should be able to see a postage cost to their country, you may have to input your location, if your country is included in the scheme.

If your country is not mentioned, please do not bid.
