Hello and welcome to my auction for this copy of Who Knows Where The Time Goes, a very special 4LP box-set by the sadly missed Sandy Denny. This is an original UK version on Island records from 1985.
I must say I thoroughly enjoyed play-grading this one. Sandy Denny was responsible for some of the loveliest music ever made, my favourites being the Fotheringay and North Star Grassman periods. It's a beautiful package, 4 palm tree label LPs in lined inner sleeves, with a 20 page b+w booklet, in a thick cardboard glossy box. Could I be so bold to suggest it may make a great gift for the vinyl-loving folk-rock freak in your life?
I've been collecting music for 45 years, but have recently decided to drastically slim down my vinyl collection, therefore you might want to check my other items for some desirable records from the 1970s through to the 2000s. There should be some bargains to be had.
I've always cared for my records, played them on high quality gear at low tracking forces and stored them upright within PVC sleeves. All my listings will be play-graded with a full description of what I hear. I know what's important to you as a vinyl fanatic, and I won't shy away from telling you about any defects I find in examining each “artifact”.
Format: 4LP boxset.
Disc Size & Speed: 12 inch 33 1/3 rpm
Cover Type: Thick card, 2 piece box. Glossy exterior, matt white interior.
Cover Condition: All faces of the box are perfect, with the exception of the bottom edge of the lid, which has developed some wear. Please see the pictures.
Inner Sleeve: Plain paper lined inners, all fine.
Insert (if applicable): 20 page monochrome booklet. As good as new.

Record Warpage: none
Play Area Visual Condition: All sides are clean.
Label Condition: All labels are clean, with very minor spindle marks.
Playback Comments: The whole thing plays perfectly with only 3 isolated single clicks that I noticed, 1 during The Pond and the Stream, the next in Take Away My Load and the last in Nothing More. I think you'd find it difficult to find a better copy of this lovely item. The dead-wax is very quiet, the audio quality is very rich sounding with a great deal of detail.
