Description
From the archives of a noted Australian rock’n’roll and entertainment historian comes this classic piece of Australian music history. Sandy Edmonds. When You Walk Into The Room / A Day Like Today Double-Sided ACETATE. Australia. Festival Records. 1967. Plus Selection Committee Appraisal Form dated 5 March 1967. Acetate in Very Good Plus condition, scuffs and marks that don’t affect play. Sounds great, especially what sounds the sitar break on the A Side. A bit of surface noise on the opening section of the B Side but record might just need a clean. Audiodiscs paper sleeve in Very Good Plus condition. Appraisal form in Good condition, some paper loss. Released in Australian and New Zealand by Festival Records, Australian cat number FK-2365. SHIPPING: In these COVID times, there have been problems with international shipping from Australia beyond slow, or no, air mail. I’ve had a parcel to the UK damaged and another that was diverted from air mail to sea mail and, three months later, appears no closer to reaching Europe. Until things improve, I’m shifting to Express Air Mail. More expensive but if you’re bidding for a record you want to enhance the probability of getting it in good order. The other option is for Standard Air Mail but buyer pays for full insurance and the correct value of the record is noted on the customs form, which some buyers have been reluctant to do in the past.
