Sandy Koufax~Last Inning September 9,1965 Perfect Game~Vin Scully Narrates~Dodgers vs. Cubs~Vinyl 33 1/3 rpm
This the original actual reproduction produced by Mister Marty--NOT a later version sold by Dodger's Concessionaire Danny Goodman. I believe (but not 100% sure) that Mr. Marty was Mart Adler, curator of the Brooklyn Dodgers legacy.
Vin Scully, in his inimitable way, narrates this historic Perfect Game--listening to it, even now, knowing the happy ending, one cannot avoid getting goose bumps...
Total time: 8 minutes 24 seconds
Condition: I listened to both sides. Side One is flawless. Side Two has two small scratches (visible upon visual inspection, parallel to one another--please see photo with red arrows pointing to these)) and they are are clearly audible, causing a 'click, click, click, sound as the record turns for the first 46 seconds of the side--after that, no problems at all. The clicking noise is annoying but just that.
