Description
- Sandy Wynns real name is Edna Wright and her older sister is Darlene Love. Edna Wright was with the Blossoms and also spent four years as the lead singer of the female trio Honey Cone.
-During her pre-Honey Cone years, she sang back-up for various artists including Ray Charles and also the Righteous Brothers. Later in her career, Edna provided background for artists such as Kim Carnes, U2 and Andrae Crouch in the 1980's and Aaron Neville in the 1990's.
-Prior to her Honey Cone years, Edna put out a series of soul 45's during the 1960's under the pseudonym Sandy Wynns. Simco 30001 is by the far the rarest of that group
