Rare, long out of print comic book & record set from 1966 in stunning condition.
Santa Claus Conquers The Martians - Golden SLP 170
Lovely, high-grade LP and comic book from 1966.
Rarely seen, and almost never in such nice shape.
This is a charming recorded adaptation of the classic cult film which featured future sex kitten Pia Zadora as a green-faced Martian kid.
The eBay era of record collecting has made it apparent just how rare this LP is, and anyone with any children's records in their collection knows it's almost impossible to find ANY kiddie vinyl in good shape, let alone a nice sleeve AND comic book! (These Golden sets are generally beaten to tatters.)
The vinyl is a stunning NM- or better with clean labels. (Appears unplayed from a private audiophile library.)
The sleeve is a lovely, near-new EX, with just some light wear at the rear top seam (no splitting) and that ever-present cut-out hole in the upper right corner to lower it from NM- status.
The comic book appears VF+ or better, but has an upper left corner missing on the back cover, so more of a VG or Qualified VF+. (The cut-out hole missed the comic book completely, which isn't always the case...)
New inner sleeve included. (Golden generally issued none with its pressings from this era, making the vinyl's condition all the more impressive!)
