Description

Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted. 

Grading is based on visual inspection.

I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.

New and vintage vinyl is hard to grade strictly using eBay’s system because the record and the cover are two different components. Therefore, I grade a record new and mint if it is opened but has never been played.  I use the eBay grading category to describe the cover condition.

  • This all-time classic is being offered as a very rare Promotional copy.
  • This First Pressing, Gatefold cover including a 24"x 36" B&W Poster is a Columbia Records Promotional copy of the original 1970 release.
  • This copy has a scuff mark across Tracks 1 & 2 on Side 1. It will probably create a click on Track 1 but not a skip. The rest of the playing surfaces are clean.
  • The Radio Station Timing sticker is on the front cover and the Promo sticker is top right back cover.
  • The gatefold cover has tight seams, a stiff spine and shows slight storage edge wear.
  • The B&W poster is 24"x 36" and had never been unfolded until I took the photo.
  • The original Columbia/Epic inner sleeve is included. I have added a soft poly inner sleeve.
  • This is a one-owner that the Seller got new from the Columbia Records rep in his record store in 1970. It has been in storage for 53 years.
