Description

A 1st pressing of Abraxas from 1970 on the UK CBS label. Matrix A1/B1. Heavy Set vinyl - not like the later flimsy stuff. The record comes housed in an original Maroon coloured 'patents pending' cover printed by Shorewood. Also included is the original CBS advertising inner sleeve. 100% original & 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) A beautifully preserved record and has clearly only seen light use. Under close inspection we can barely make out a single mark. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. We detected a couple of passages with some light static, but even that is pretty minor. A fantastic rendition of an all time classic.
Cover (Ex-) In very nice condition exhibiting some edge wear a couple of light creases. Shiny front and rear with a couple of light indentations. The text on the spine is still mostly readable and the the cover still retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) Lightest of ageing and no splits.
