Description
A 1st press from around the time of release and whilst charting - winter 1972. Matrix A1/B1. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover - the interior is textured. Also included is the CBS advertising inner sleeve.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In superb condition and has clearly only seen the light use. Please note there is very light wobble at the outer edge. We measured this and its maximum amplitude is 1mm - i.e. visible - but almost zero effect on audio. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of very light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. The audio is superb - there's barely any interference at all. The audio quality is really top-end as you would hope for from an early UK pressing.
Cover (Ex+) A beautiful example which has been cared for down the years. Handling wear is almost totally absent front and back. Edge wear light and the text on the spine is 100% intact. The interior is very nice condition too with just a touch of wear down in the bottom-right corner. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex) No splits.
