Description

Quite frankly ridiculous!!! Wowzer X 2....
An original 1st press on UK CBS from 1969. Matrix A1/B1. Nice chunky sixties vinyl and comes housed in an original front laminated cover printed by Upton. Please note there's no publishing on the labels...just copyright control. This is a sign of a very early copy. We also have a generic CBS inner from the time too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete. Looking at it you would never believe it is from'69..total stunner.
Vinyl (Ex+) In super condition and clearly has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of slightest marks per side - nothing troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Now, you can certainly go out and purchase a half-speed master, or an Mfsl reissue. But just bear in mind you'll probably pay more than we are asking for on this copy. And I wouldn't mind betting this copy will still likely run it into second place! In fact, I'd put  money on it! hardly any background even into the fussy slow build into TREAT. A couple of crackles... at the start of TREAT...but absolutely superb piano tinkling......A consistently great playing copy AT ALL TIMES. Stunning low level detail incredible resolver. Why risk a 50/50 copy? FINAL UPGRADE. Best Santana copy I've ever had the pleasure to spin...!
Cover (Ex+) Jesus wept....never have I seen a '69 Lp in this condition...MIND BLOWING. When you first hold it...it's like no way can this be '69. BUT I am tellin' ya it absolutely is¬¬!!! Well the lamination has certainly helped...how many 69 copies look this good? The front and rear are perfectly clean and flat with hardly any signs of handling or ageing AT ALL. Nice sharp openings - four pointy corners. The spine is 100% perfect with all text legible fully legible. Overall the over retains excellent rigidity. A couple of scratch lines along the bottom of the rear would have occurred at the time of printing....hardy worth mentioning.  FINAL UPGRADE!
Inner (Ex-) Light ageing. No splits.
