Selling-up my extensive record collection. Lots of interesting records in the collection - do have a look at my other items, and there are new listings every week. I may have obscure things that you didn't even know you wanted!

Here is my copy of the Santana live triple album from 1975. This is recorded in Japan - and the Japanese were particularly good at live recordings at this time. An example of extreme packaging - triple gatefold sleeve with two additional 4-panel, T-shaped paper pieces, which if the stem of the "T" is inserted in the end of the gatefold, make a large long capital-H - like this I---I, all parts having colourful pictures on them. My album is the first European issue, I bought it when it was new (being a sucker for extravagant packaging..)

Cover - paper parts are in good condition, with a little light wear and a short tear on one of the folds. Triple gatefold cover is not made of very tough cardboard, and the outer spine has wear and isn't flat anymore. Both spines have split for an inch at the top, and the outer one split at the bottom, also for about an inch. Printing still looks very good, except for some ring-wear and wear to the edges, on the black front. This is a fragile thing, so not too bad for 44 years old! May have come with custom inners originally, I don't have those. Records are in excellent old replacement poly-lines inners.

Records - All the first five sides look in excellent condition. On side six, there is a short light scratch a short way in from the start. Side 6 is along version of "Incident at Neshabur". The scratch causes some quite quiet crackles during a quiet section of the piece of music. The rest of the side plays excellently, audio is sharp and clear.

When I'm checking for damage on records, I look at them carefully with my reading glasses on, in good daylight. This method detects any bits of damage that will affect what you hear when listening to it - and lots that are not audible. Using a spotlight or direct sunlight shows more surfacey marks sometimes, but I don't do that - records are for listening to, not trying to see your face in.

Postage at cost within UK - £3.00 plus 50p for a proper record mailer. Happy to do combined postage wherever practical. I'll charge you what it costs me - so anything up to six (or so) LPs would still be the same charge, £3.50.

I'm happy to send this overseas. See below for details, if bidding from outside UK - you need to know this stuff.

Dispatch will usually be "next day".

Collection in person is welcome.

I don't mail things personally, to countries outside the UK - ( I mean it, don't ask) - but I am happy to use E-Bay UK's Global Shipping Program, for sending things abroad. Under this scheme, I send the parcel to an e-bay depot in UK, and they forward it to the overseas buyer.

They have a tracked courier service, for the journey from their UK depot, to the buyer.

This means that I can ONLY accept payments through e-bay (Pay Now button), and I can't send invoices.

E-Bay UK tells me, they do NOT do combined postage in the Global Shipping Programme. Charges to the customer for delivery and customs charges are whatever you're told they are - if you don't want to pay the postal / courier charges individually for the items, then do not bid.

Overseas customers - please DON'T request an invoice - there is no combined postage, I can't make one, and it screws-up the e-bay system.

International buyers should be able to see a postage cost to their country, you may have to input your location, if your country is included in the scheme.

If your country is not mentioned, please do not bid.

Applicable customs charges will probably be shown to buyers in non-EU countries - E-Bay collects customs duty for the receiving country, wherever import duty is appropriate. If you don't want to pay the customs charges, do not bid.

I don't send to China (because I prefer not to), and I also don't send to Japan, Brazil, Ecuador and Peru, as importation of vinyl records is not permitted in their customs regulations.
