Description
Santana (also known as Santana III) is the third studio album by the American rock band. It was released on the Columbia Records label in September 1971. The band’s second self-titled album, it is often referred to as Santana III to distinguish it from their debut Santana album from 1969. Also known as “Man k with Outstretched Hand”, a nod to its cover art. It was the third and last of their Woodstock-era lineup. The album also marked the arrival of 16 year old guitarist Neil Schon, later of Journey fame. The album spawned two singles in “Everybody’s Everything” (#12) and “No one To Depend On” (#36).
