Description
This is the first album and first pressing for Santo & Johnny which was a big hit, 6 months at #1 from what I read. The album cover is marked Stereo in the upper right corner and on the label, the album # reads scalp 1001 with the silver and black label. The notation -1 is in the matrix after the matrix # on each side. I am not able to find any imperfections on side 1, there is a very fine scratch in the matrix area of side 2 that extends into the last 2 tracks with NO effect on play, it's an odd shape and not from a needle you can see it in the photo. There also is a tiny 1/4" scratch between track 3&4 that you can hear faint static from. This is my parents' album, it has not been played in over 40 years before today and there was not much play after it was purchased in 1959. The shipping charge includes insurance.
