VERY RARE OKeh Records, 8117, Acc. Sylvester Weaver
This 10" single is composed of tracks recorded, respectively, in October and November, 1923. Performed as a duet between Ms. Martin and pianist Clarence Williams, along with an exciting guitar accompaniment from Sylvester Weaver, composer of the blues standard "Guitar Rag." In fact, "Guitar Rag" was first recorded during Weaver's session for "Good-Bye Blues." This is only the second collaboration Weaver made with Martin, and makes for a dynamic performance. Vinyl is in good to VG- condition; expect some light surface noise on playback.TRACK LISTING:
