Description

Sarah Vaughan (self-titled) EmArcy Records 1st pressing (# MG 36004 mono) in a laminate cardboard sleeve. Label features a large drummer with square icon and silver rim. The record grading is Good Plus (G+). The vinyl has wear with crackling & pops, although no skips. The album is listenable-just sounds like a 70 year old album in spots. The following is on the runout groove:


  • Side A): (stamped) YMG 36004A MF1 1 A2

  • Side B): (stamped) YMG 36004B MF1 1 A1


The outer case is Very Good Plus (VG+) with only some cracking at the top 3” of the spine, but no splits at all to the spine and top & bottom seams. The laminate front cover is still smooth & glossy. The all-blue back cover - lettering & photos - has some oxidation marks mostly around the edges and a very small handwritten ink mark in the bottom right corner. (all reflected in the photos). All sales final.

NOTE: A 1st pressing of this album is pretty hard to find, thus the high starting auction price even for one in just Fair condition.


This album will ship with the inner sleeve & record OUTSIDE of the cover as to prevent any possible seam damage to the cover during shipment. Both the album cover and the inner sleeve & vinyl will be  contained within a plastic protective sleeve inside of the shipping box with padding on top & bottom
