Description
Artist: Saturnalia 'Magical Love' picture disc vinyl
Label/ Cat. number/Year: UK Matrix Records,TRIX 1SP,1969.
Record/Sleeve condition: Record has been played once only and as such is rated in M- condition.Rare 28 page booklet is in EX+ with no tears or writing, and all the pages are good and flat with no bends or creases after 40 years careful storage.Album is supplied in it's original polythene bag housed in a stouter PVC sleeve, and both sides have the rarer 3-D record labels.
Comments: Produced by the Yardbirds Keith Relf, this, along with Curved Air's 'Air Conditioning' was one of the very first picture disc albums, and as such, the sound quality does not compare to that of standard black vinyl ( a point that most other sellers conveniently seem to miss out when grading the condition ). I haven't played this album since I bought it new over 40 years ago, but a friend of mine played me the similarly manufactured Curved Air picture disc at the time and I seem to remember surface noise throughout, and every replacement copy from new sounded the same. Don't let this put you off bidding, but I thought I'd bring this to your attention where others wouldn't, as theirs won't sound any better.
All of these records have been kept in loft storage for at least two decades, most were bought new, and all are in minimum VG+ condition, with many unplayed.
Refunds only in the unlikely event that any prove to be faulty or other than described.
Thanks for looking, feel free to ask any questions, and happy bidding.
