Description
Up for auction here is Ernie Wilkins' "Top Brass" featuring Five Trumpets on the Savoy label, catalog # MG 12044. This pressing has red labels with RVG etched in the dead wax. The LP is NM-/VG+ with a few faint light marks...the most noticeable (visually) is on "It Might as Well Be Spring". Since Donald Byrd plays so lovely on it, I thought I'd share a clip of it so you can hear for yourself that the mark does not affect the sound. Watch the video below. The cover has a 2-3" seam split on spine in the middle keeping it from VG+. But both the front and back display well....the front is nice and glossy. Shipping is $4 in the US (or $8 for Priority Mail), $15 to Canada and $25 to the rest of the world. Additional LPs are $1 each in the US, $4 each to Canada and $7 each to the rest of the world.
