"HISTORY OF CLASSIC JAZZ" 5 LP Set from mid 50s RIVERSIDE Jazz Records, Original Issue, scarce and in very nice shape! BLUES ARTISTS, TOO!

RIVERSIDE Set with insert and attached booklet, clothbound fold out set with five inner sleeves attached...  SDP-11 (RLPs 12-112/ 12-116)...  "An anthology of the great traditional styles"... 1956 issue produced by Bill Grauer and Orrin Keepnews, with an essay by Charles Edward Smith...   Artists include Fats Waller, Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Jimmy & Tommy Doresy, Jelly Roll Morton, Kid Ory, Ma Rainey, Blind Lemon Jefferson, MEADE LUX LEWIS, JAMES P. JOHNSON, COLEMAN HAWKINS AND MANY, MANY MORE...  Condition of the jacket/ album, overall clean, some wear/ rubbing, inner sleeves have slight center spilts at bottom... Attached booklet slight pulls / looseness at staples... Condition of the vinyl; EX, overall looks like it was never played, but some soil/ wear/ scuffs from storage/ age, could use a good cleaning, looks like...Overall very fresh!  UNUSUAL!

Records are graded per "GOLDMINE" standards: SS= Still Sealed...
