Scarce Boston Pops EP w/ Andy Warhol Cover (Latin Rhythms)


 


 

 
Boston Pops – “Latin Rhythms at the Boston Pops”, Arthur Fiedler, conductor (RCA ERA-25). Very scarce 1952 EP by the Boston pops includes 4 cuts, “La Cumparsita”, “Carioca”, “The Continental”, and “Ritual Fire Dance”, but it is the cover and not the music that really attracts the attention. The cover was the 5th commissioned work for a young Andy Warhol. Record and cover are in strong VG+ condition (no seam splits, tears, etc and only the beginnings of light ring wear – see scan). A beautiful example. Postage will be paid by purchaser.
