Chu Berry was an American swing tenor saxophonist who, during the 1930's, played with Fletcher Henderson, Sammy Stewart, Benny Carter, Teddy Hill, and Cab Calloway. He died in a car crash in 1941 at the age of 33. This is a very scarce record.
The jacket has a glossy coating that is peeling a bit at lower-left corner and along right edge; repairs along the top edge and the center of the bottom edge with clear tape; otherwise covers are clean; short 1-inch split at bottom of spine, The vinyl has only a few minimal scuffs and smudges and one short minimal scratch. Condition is Good+ / Very Good+.
