Again from the legendary Columbia 15000 Series comes this very cool and very scarce 78 rpm 10" of Charlie Poole and the North Carolina Ramblers. Both sides play with some impulse noise but sound fine. The record has been play tested with a modern Denon turntable and a low mass 78 rpm stylus and cartridge. These types of records were electrically recorded and should not be played on older machines using 1 or two play steel needles in order to prevent damage to the recording surface.
