Here's one that hardly ever shows up. Two seasonal songs from the prolific 'city-billy' singer, Vernon Dalhart, recorded, most likely in New York, October, 1928. Vernon was the fella who had the first Country music million seller with 'The Prisoner's Song' a bit earlier in the twenties.
Only the second copy I've seen in thirty-plus years on the Christmas 78 hunt. Another one for your well-rounded Christmas 78 collection. Good luck.

This 78 visually grades a nice shiny E- with an even covering of soft stacking rubs and a few harmless feather-light surface scratches. Spot-checked. Plays nice and strong for the grade and the vintage on my Technics 1200 turntable with the occasional isolated tick. Labels are just fine.

With the ever-rising costs of shipping 78s, I’m happy to hold records for you buyers who want to fill up a box – on a ‘pay as you go’ basis, please.

Unless otherwise stated, 78s are carefully cleaned by hand before listing. Upon receiving, your only job will be to enjoy the music.
78s come in used but nice vintage green sleeves or, when possible, original paper sleeves.
I do my spot-checking and play testing on a Technics 1200 turntable with a Stanton 500 cartridge using a standard Stanton 2.7 stylus. The amp is a mid-70s Pro-Linear with the mono switch activated. The speakers are small professional recording studio monitors (Yamaha NS 10) that are known for being overly bright – great for spotting that mild surface noise!
I ship 78s as I like to receive them - using the four-sheet 10” cardboard sandwich, foam chips, 12" x 12" x 4 "(or 6") box method.
I use standard 78 grading (E+, E, E-, V+, V, V- etc). I’ll sometimes use double plus or minus signs to really hone in on the shape.

US BUYERS - shipping calculator rates are for surface shipping.
CANADIAN BUYERS – the shipping calculator will give you rates for surface shipping. Also, since I’m mailing from British Columbia, 12 % HST (on shipping only) will be added to the invoice of all Canadian orders.
ALL OTHER INTERNATIONAL BUYERS - shipping calculator rates are for airmail. International surface shipping can take a long time to reach you – up to two months – so is not recommended.
I've had to add a small fee to help cover the extra costs of: 1. packing materials (boxes, cardboard pads, foam chips, etc), 2. eBay’s new final-value-fees on shipping charges, 3. fees incurred by PayPal on shipping charges.
