1950 3 disc 33 1/3 RPM LP album set, featuring the great team of conductor Hermann Scherchen with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra in a classic performance of Bach's Mass in B Minor. Set is one of the earliest Long-Play LP's (first issued in '49), and is astonishingly well-preserved. Cover is old-style box set with textured cloth-bound spine, glossy front cover. Notes are on inside of gatefold AND in a special pocket is a 2 page libretto. Cover is clean glossy and Near Mint. Discs (early green label w/gold print) are housed in individual notebook-page style sleeves. All are clean, glossy, and Near Mint. Rare early LP set, in stunning condition! Offered without reserve.
