You are bidding on a Columbia EMI, No. SAX 2281, Stereo Recording of Schubert's Trio in B Flat, Op. 99, ( D.898 ).
This wonderful recording has David Oistrakh, Violin; Sviatoslav Knushevitzky, Cello; Lev Oborin, Piano. The album is in near mint condition. The record has one extremely light scratch that does not effect play in any way, two nearly unseen paper rubs, and two spindle marks. The vinyl is jet black. I played this album through with a 1 gram stylus and the only thing that I could find that would keep this record from sounding perfect was a little background noise for a few seconds at the very beginning of side No. 1.THe back states that this recording was first published in 1958. It also states that it was intended for use only on special stereophonic reproducers. This is a very early stereo recording. Cover is in excellent condition with just a little ringwear mostly on the back. This record was pressed in Great Bitain
