Description
For sale is a vinyl record titled Schumann: Piano Concerto in A Minor, Op. 51, featuring Artur Rubinstein on piano and Josef Krips conducting The RCA Victor Symphony Orchestra, originally released in 1959 by RCA Victor Red Seal Records. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks is etched "I", followed by the matrix numbers 8-S/5-S, indicating that earlier stampers were used to make this record, then pressed at RCA's pressing plant located in Indianapolis, Indiana. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound quality. I bought this record used and put it into archival inner sleeve, then stored in a record storage box where it was kept under optimum conditions for both temperature and humidity. The original inner sleeve is graded as Excellent with a few wrinkles. The cover is graded as Near Mint Minus because of two very minor corner blunts. The vinyl is visually graded as Near Mint with pristine looking surfaces without sleeve marks or surface scratches. This would be a welcome addition to anyone's collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative.
