Description
Scoop Nisker - If You Don't LIke The New's, Go Out And Make Some Of Your Own - private press from 1971. Cvr/ M- (in shrink) Rec/ M-. San Francisco underground FM radio news contributor with the help of Rubber Dubber, famous bootlegger, put out this lp of sound bites/stories. From Rolling Stone Magazine review: "Scoop's news broadcasts were highly complex tape collages, utilizing interviews, phone conversations, recorded music, electronic effects, and all the other techniques that a radio station has at its disposal but seldom uses except for "psychedelic " commercials. Scoop used them to report the news, and he used them brilliantly." The cover art was done by Greg Irons, a noted Fillmore Poster artist and underground comic artist. Lp also comes with page of Rolling Stone that has review of lp.

RECORD GRADES USED
Lps graded under a "natural sunlight" lamp = to 150 watts
M- Like new but may have a single small mark or a small area of very lite sleeve wear, none of which affect play
VG++ May have a very few lite marks/scuffs, sleeve wear, play will probably not be affected
VG+ Has some lite scratches/scuffs, maybe writing on label, may play with occasional lite noise
VG Will have more noticable scratches/scuffs than VG+, may play with greater amount of lite noise
G Lots of visual lite scratches/scuffs but still plays good with lite to moderate noise, nothing too distracting
Fair Moderate scratches but still plays good for the most part with maybe constant lite noise, no skips, pops or ticks
HOW I PACK RECORDS & EXTRA REQUIRED POSTAGE
I use cardboard lp mailer with cardboard filler pad. I take the record out of the jacket and put it in a another separate jacket so original does not get seam split damage etc. NOTE: I retain proof of mailing for all lp's sent.
