Description
Original US vinyl pressing of Scorpions “Love At First Sting” album released in 1984 on Mercury 422 814 981-1 M-1. It has MASTERDISK stamped in the runout of both sides.
This is a very clean copy and has been washed in a Spin-Clean. Using Discogs grading standards, I would conservatively grade it as a high VG+. But VG+ really doesn’t do it justice. It is flat and both sides are glossy with very little signs of having been played. There are only a couple of very faint marks to be found that are hard to see unless viewed at just the right angle. There is nothing that would appear to cause any skips or even affect the sound at all. Labels are both like new.
The jacket is also in great shape, with crisp edges and strong graphics on both sides. There is a little bit of edge- and corner wear, along with a few mild creases but no writing, split seams or other damage.
The original printed inner sleeve is also included, which is intact but in worse shape than the record and jacket. There are split seams along all 3 edges that have been repaired with Scotch tape. Top corner is dog-eared and there’s a small 1/8” tear on bottom edge. The lyrics side has some visible creasing, yellowing and stains. See photos for details. From a smoke-free home.
