Description
This is a fine copy of the original UK pressing from 1969, with all tracks credited to Scott Engel. The avant-garde interests and aspirations that fuel much of his later work are evident in tracks such as Seventh Seal (referencing Ingmar Bergman) and the rear cover quote from Albert Camus.
CONDITION
I use the RC grading categories and have play graded the vinyl on a Linn LP12.
Sleeve: Very Good
The cover is sound, with no major defects. There are no stains, writing or tears. The front cover photo is clean and clear. There is some edge and corner wear but the writing on the spine is all clear. There is light ring wear on the rear of the sleeve. The centre of the gatefold is also very good.
Vinyl: Very Good+
The record looks and plays close to excellent. There are only a few visible spindle marks. There are no sticks, clicks, skips or warps. There is no intrusive background crackle during tracks and just a few isolated ticks, mostly between tracks.
POSTAGE AND PACKAGING
The record will be packed in a record mailer with stiffener and posted 2nd class signed for. I remove all records from outer and printed inner sleeves before packing to avoid damage to covers during transit. All albums are dispatched in polythene sleeves.
This is one of several albums I am selling from my personal collection. I am not a dealer but have been buying records for over 40 years and have started to ‘downsize’ my collection.
