LAMINATED CVR IS EX   LITE WEAR
DISC IS EX  SHINY HAS SOME LITE MARKS BUT PLAYS WELL WITH SOME PASSIVE NOISE
I was really surprised by how eerie some of these songs are, specially My Death and Such a Small Love, both of which feature cryptic lyricism, theatrical presentation and a very ominous and hauting production. The performances on the opening track, Mathilde, and the closing tack, Amsterdam, are loud and epic death chants that reminded me a lot of a Let Love In era Nick Cave or a Bone Machine era Tom Waits. While those four tracks mentioned are the best ones here, i was still pleasantly surprised by the album as a whole, even though most songs were not actually written by Walker himself.
