Description

Ultra Rare Test Press of "Growing Pains" LP by Scotti Bruning, the same Scotti responsible for: "Scotti for Friends", "Bar Chords", and "Mazeville Crossing". Local Colorado Springs, Colorado: Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist in the '70s. A very rare chance to own a true one-of-a-kind, ultimate Scotti collectible by this cult hero. As an added Rare Bonus, included is the original Mailer which has Scotti's own handwritting on it, sending the LP from Colorado to his family in Wichita, Kansas. There is the Stamp for his Label "Strawberry Records" on the Mailer w/ its Colo. Sprs. Address. Note the Post Office Date Stamp: July 29, 1974. Wow! The record & the Mailer are a true piece of of "Scotti" history, it just doesn't get any better.

Condition - Cover:  Mailer, VG, some creases, minor dents & dings, a few minor stains.

Condition - Labels:  Clean, but....Someone ( The Engineer? ) Wrote, in ink, the wrong sides ( A&B ) on each side of the labels, also wrote the song title: "Why can't I fall in Love Again" on the label side marked "A" ( But Really the "B" side )    See Pics

Condition - Vinyl:  Excellent/NM, A very few, very, very minor surface marks, that Do Not Interfere w/ The sound at all.

Label:  KM Records Inc.( for Strawberry Records), Run Offs Read: KM 2839A & KM 2839B respectively, both side are marked: SR 486 on both sides, and the "A" side has a personal note etched in the run-off ( Presumably by Scotti ) saying: "Thanks, Marty!"         Cool!

MINT - record appears to have just left the manufacturer - perfect / unplayed!
