Description

Scratch & The Upsetters "Super Ape" 1st Press Island UK Vinyl Lp  Excellent Condition.
1976 Super Ape.  Record Label: Island 
Catalogue Number: ILPS 9417. Side 1 Matrix: ILPS 9417 A-1 Side 2 Matrix: ILPS 9417 B-1
Cover:  Exc.  One or two very light marks, and minimal ring marking on back only.  Some scuffing on spine and edges, but otherwise near on as new.  Comes with original Island black card inner plus white paper inner (as those card Island inners used to scratch the surface somewhat)
Vinyl:  Exc.  Well preserved with much of original surface sheen.  1 or 2 slight smears around start of side 1, otherwise looks pretty much as new.  Plays with very occasional light surface noise, most noticeable just at start of each side.
A well preserved original UK copy of (in my opinion) one of the finest reggae/dub albums ever made
